Price

Friends £24, Guests £26

Booking opens 31 January 2025, 10am

A rare opportunity to experience the Garden in all its tranquility before it opens to the public.

Join ornithologist Dr. Julia Mackenzie, who uses the Botanic Garden for her research, for an early-morning tour to observe the birds that call the Garden home. The price includes a hot breakfast in the Café, along with tea and coffee, after the tour.

Due to the popularity of last year’s event, we are offering it twice this year:

  • 2 April 2025
  • 3 April 2025

As an introduction, we also recommend joining the free online event A Guide to Birdsong on Tuesday, 1 April.

The booking code can be found on the Events page of the Friends Newsletter in the ‘How to Book’ box.
