Booking opens 30 May 2025, 10am

Doors open at 6:30 PM for a pre-lecture reception, with tea and coffee served. The lecture will begin promptly at 7:30 PM and conclude by 9:00 PM.

Please note the change from previous years: the reception will now take place before the lecture.

“Difficult Decisions: gardening choices in a changing climate.”

Join us for a talk by Dr John Grimshaw, former Director of the Yorkshire Arboretum and now Editor-in-Chief of Curtis’s Botanical Magazine and IDS Trees and Shrubs Online. Dr Grimshaw will explore the challenges of gardening in a changing climate and how this affects the whole range of horticultural practice, whether we like it or not.
