Clarinettist Arun Ghosh brings his trademark IndoJazz to Sounds Green. Conceived in Calcutta, bred in Bolton, matured in Manchester and living in London, Arun Ghosh’s musical style represents his rich cultural heritage. The British-Asian clarinettist and composer is a leading light on the UK jazz scene, captivating audiences and critics with his passionate and dynamic performance style, eloquent musical expression and a healthy dose of rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

The Sounds Green series runs every Wednesday in July.

Set on the Garden’s Main Lawn, visitors can relax and enjoy informal and fun live music with family and friends, on a (hopefully) warm and balmy evening.

🎵 Music begins at 6.30pm, lasting approximately one hour.

🎵 Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Garden until 8.30pm when the gates will close.

🎵 Picnics are welcome. Food and drink will be provided by Guerilla Kitchen and The Garden Café. Ice cream by Jack’s Gelato.

🎵 Bring a rug or picnic chair and relax in beautiful surroundings to some stunning musical sounds!

Tickets:

Tickets are the cost of normal Garden admission and include entry into the Garden from 10am.

Paying visitors are advised to book online for this event as tickets cannot be guaranteed on the gates. Online tickets can be purchased up until 5pm on the day of the event.

It is not necessary to purchase advance tickets if you are:

  • An Essential Carer for a Disabled Visitor
  • A Child 0 – 16 inclusive (must be accompanied by an adult)
  • A CUBG Friend or Corporate Friend (on display of a membership card)
  • A CU Student (on display of a student card)
