Looking good now
This huge mound of a rose plant is like a pink-flushed sherbert fountain, attracting pollen beetles and bees.

Service Tree

The large specimen of the beautiful Service Tree, Sorbus domestica, close to the Betula collection, is adorned with many small, golden pear-shaped fruits.

You can enjoy the Garden's important collection of native Sorbus on the south-east corner of the Gilbert-Carter Memorial Area. The beautifully-coloured and very diverse fruits of the many service, rowan and wayfarer trees are at their best now.
