This hybrid Geranium arose from the research work of Dr Peter Yeo, Garden Taxonomist, 1953 – 1993.
This hybrid between G. macrorrhizum and G. dalmaticum has arisen spontaneously on a number of occasions, but was produced here under experimental conditions in 1974, and then selected and named by Yeo. It is a vigorous plant with light green aromatic foliage and pinkish purple flowers from June to July. It makes an excellent ground cover, rock garden or front of border plant, and can be seen in various locations in the Garden.
