Autumn colour

Autumn is a special time of year when the Garden’s 2,000-strong tree collection really shines.

Brighten up your day and warm your heart with a blaze of colour, as vibrant seasonal displays light up the Garden.

There’s so much to enjoy over this season with a rich palette of vibrant colour all around the Garden:

🍁 Vivid reflections around the Lake of brilliant orange, bright scarlet and buttery gold.

🍁 Late flowers, seedheads, fruits and feathery grasses as they combine to create a richly textured tapestry in the Autumn Garden.

🍁 Glowing golds all across the Garden, as our tree collection prepares for winter.

Why not follow the ‘Trees of the Botanic Garden’ adult trail and discover more about the science of autumn colour from seasonal boards placed around the Garden.
