Donations help the Garden to run our education outreach programmes, to maintain our stunning landscapes and to support world-class plant science research.
Irrigation Project
If you would like to help us to protect the Garden’s Living Collection for future years and generations, please consider supporting our Irrigation Project – there is an urgent need to renew our irrigation system which is unable to meet demand during the increasingly hot, dry summers, putting endangered plants and vital research at risk.

This is what your donation could do:
£25 will provide an explorer backpack for our youngest visitors to borrow (complete with binoculars, bug box and activities)
£50 will help purchase a selection of new books for our children’s library
£100 will cover the cost of a drop-in family activity day
£200 will help us support a schools visit

All donations to the Garden are recorded in the Book of Benefactions, which was commissioned in 2008 to become a lasting record of the ways in which the Botanic Garden has benefitted from generous donations from visitors and supporters. The Book can be viewed at 1 Brookside during Garden opening hours.
