Springtime, family fun & a little adventure – Easter in the Garden is calling!

11 April 2025

We have an Easter trail, family craft events and free seasonal Garden tours, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, you can enjoy the beauty of spring in our collection of over 8,000 plant species, spread across 40 acres of lovely gardens and glasshouses.

For Families:

Fox’s Forgotten Words: Join Flora the Fox on our Easter family trail and help her rediscover nature’s Forgotten Words. Pick up a free trail map at either Ticket Office and set off on a plant word hunt. Will you spot fiddleheads, fronds, catkins or cowslips? Find them all and claim your Easter prize!

🦊 Drop in anytime, 3 – 21 April 2025
🦊 For all adventurers aged 3+

Free Easter family events: Join us at these school holiday drop-in activities in the Garden Room.

🐥 Cress-haired Easter chick paper pots: Monday 14 April, 1-4pm.
🐥 Easter animal masks: Wednesday 16 April, 10am-1pm.
🐥 All ages welcome, no need to pre-book.

Easter daily Garden tours: Enjoy a free one-hour tour of our spring highlights. A great introduction to the Garden or to discover something new to enjoy!

🌸 Every day from Sunday 6 April – Easter Monday 21 April
🌸 Tours start at 11.30am & 2pm on the Main Lawn
🌸 Places are limited – sign up at the Ticket Office on the day.

🌍 Enter our new IGPOTY competition: ‘Around the World at CUBG’ We are delighted to partner again with the International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) to offer this free-to-enter competition, now in its fifth year of collaboration with the Garden.
