From Cambridge Past, Present & Future:

Cambridge’s independent charity that cares for heritage and green spaces.

Established in 1928, the charity is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the green setting of Cambridge for people and nature. We own and care for Wandlebury Country Park, Coton Countryside Reserve and nationally important heritage buildings like the Cambridge Leper Chapel, Bourn Windmill and Hinxton Watermill and provide an independent voice for local residents in the strategic planning of the Cambridge area.

Through our outdoors learning programme for 2,000 local school children a year, and an inspiring and engaging annual programme of events, we inspire people of all ages to get outdoors and help them to enjoy, learn about and get involved with their local environment, heritage and culture.

Members enjoy free parking all year at Wandlebury Country Park, free entry to our heritage open days, discounted venue hire for BBQ’s and parties and receive our members’ magazine The Ring twice a year with updates on all work to car for and share nature and our historic places.

Cambridge Past, Present & Future is a local independent charity that receives no government or council funds, so we rely heavily on the support of our members and supporters, as well as volunteers, patrons, trustees and donors.

We are delighted to offer Friends of Cambridge University Botanic Garden a special discounted rate of the first year of joining as an annual member. To take advantage of this offer please visit our website and use the code from a recent CUBG Friends newsletter or contact the CUBG Friends office.
