Magic and Mayhem this Christmas at the Garden!

Join us for a sprinkle of Magic and Mayhem, 13 November – 23 December 2021

15 November 2021

Winter at the Botanic Garden is a magical time of year when the Garden’s 40 acre landscape is transformed – low winter sun lights up coloured stems and decorative tree barks; winter flowers and fragrances fill the air.

However this year, visitors may also find some unexpected, fun surprises scattered around the Garden as some mischievous elves have sprinkled seasonal fun around the Garden!

“Magic and Mayhem is all about having some light hearted, festive fun with family and friends over the Christmas period. Visitors will discover that some elves have paid us a visit and transformed various parts of the Garden with a sprinkle of magic, mixed with a hint of mayhem! I hope everyone will enjoy the magic that’s been created!”

CUBG Director, Beverley Glover

Magic & Mayhem is running from Saturday 13 November to Thursday 23 December. A free map and colouring-in activity is available from the ticket offices.

There is also a yellow ribbon memorial installation. Visitors can tie a yellow ribbon to remember a loved one – something which happens around the world for many causes as a sign of sympathy and solidarity.

We’d love to see your photos – please share them on social media using #MagicAndMayhem.
