🐞 Tickets are £5 which includes Garden entry.

🐞 More information can be found on the Bioblitz page.

Houseplant Sustainability Challenge

Join us for an exhibition about discovering sustainable practices within horticulture and what we as individuals can do to garden and grow more sustainably.

Come and take part in a simulated shopping challenge and discover how sustainable your plant shopping choices are! The shopping challenge focuses on houseplants with tips and advice on how to scale it up to selecting sustainable plants for gardens.

Visitors will find out:

🌱 What sustainable horticulture is

🌱 What peat is and why being peat-free is important

🌱 How sustainable cut flowers are

🌱 How to care for houseplants (or any plant) more sustainably

🌱 What to look out for when shopping for plants

Running all summer in the Education Hut, near the Station Road Entrance.

International Garden Photographer of the Year special competition

A free-to-enter competition themed ‘The Colours of Cambridge University Botanic Garden’ will be open to all adult visitors to the Garden and will run across the summer. The winners will have their work on display in the Garden in 2023, as part of the main IGPOTY exhibition.

The competition is open to adults over 18 and will run until 31 October this year, providing visitors the opportunity to capture the Garden over two of the most beautiful and changing seasons.

For more information visit the competition page and for all entry details visit the IGPOTY website.
