Community guided walk and activity

Community member group, BPHA, felt energised after a free late summer guided walk and activity

In September 2026 the BPHA, as part of the Community Membership Scheme, brought a group of their members to the Garden for a guided tour and activity. The seasonal walk, led by Community Coordinator Louise Campbell, was followed by a short session in the Garden Room during which participants tried ‘overpainting’. Using printed outlines of some of the plants they had seen, they overpainted with watercolour paints. The whole session helped the members enjoy time together whilst learning and exploring the wealth of plants that the Garden houses.

“The attendees really enjoyed themselves, and you could feel the energy it generated continuing through to our regular meetup a couple of days later”
