The Garden holds a special place in many people’s hearts. Its tranquility and beauty offer a unique place for reflection in the heart of Cambridge and it is a special place to commemorate a loved one.
These programmes help the Garden to maintain our beautiful heritage landscape, and inspire visitors about the importance of plants and plant science, horticulture and the joy of gardening.
The Giving in Memory Fund has supported a number of projects in the Garden, from the building of our garden classroom, to creating an Arid Lands display in the Glasshouse Range and the creation of bulb belts to improve the spring displays.
All gifts are recorded in our Book of Benefactions held at 1 Brookside, which can be viewed at any time during Garden opening hours.
