We’re delighted to take part in University of Cambridge Museums’ Summer at the Museums programme.
Join us during the school summer holidays and be inspired by the Garden in drop-in craft activities, and explore with a family self-led trail. With reduced adult admission as part of the Great British Summer Saving scheme, the Garden is the perfect place to meet family and friends and make your summer hang out.
Events taking place include:
- Helpful herbs: Find out more about herbs and sow some seeds to grow your own at home.
- Cool carnivorous: Discover some of our carnivorous plants and get creative.
- Plant printing: Create beautiful prints using leaves and petals.
- Marvellous minibeasts: Be inspired by some of the amazing insects that call the Garden home.
- Nature impressions: Make your own clay decoration by imprinting leaves and petals.
- Summer nature wand: Create a summer wand to spread some magic around the Garden.
- Professor Filbert’s Plant Heroes: Follow in the professor’s pawprints and explore the Garden while uncovering some amazing plant discoveries on this self-led trail.
There is no need to pre-book, just drop-in to join in the fun. All ages are welcome and the craft activities will take place at the Garden Room in the Schools’ Garden. All activities are free, normal Garden admission applies for accompanying adults.
