Ticket sales open 4 weeks before the event and close on Tuesday 11th May
In this workshop aimed at children in the Key Stage 1 age group (5 – 7 years old) we will be exploring the huge variety of flower shape and colour out in the Garden. We will learn about the different pollinators that visit flowers, and use microscopes to look closely at flowers. Each session includes loads of hands-on activities and we always make our own paper pots and plant a seed for you to grow on at home.
Our workshops are led by our experienced Learning Officers with help from our volunteers.
The workshop activities are designed for children in the age group stated. We understand you may need to bring a younger or older child with you. Please ensure that you include any child aged 4+ on your booking. They may be able to join in with some elements of the workshop, but the content will be aimed at the age range advertised.
Much of this event is outdoors, please dress for the weather.
